The LVN is responsible for implementing nursing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality care. They also provide direct patient care, document clinical notes, and assist with patient education and transportation.
Candidates must hold a current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license and current BLS certification. A minimum of three to six months of experience in a nursing environment is preferred.

Using independent and interdependent judgment, the Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. In collaboration with the physician, and the supervising RN, the LVN/LPN assures implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follows up of the plan of care for the patient population.
