The CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic computed tomography procedures and assists with departmental policy implementation. They work independently to produce high-quality diagnostic films while maintaining safety standards and serving as a department preceptor.
Candidates must be a graduate of a two-year AMA-accredited radiologic technology program and hold current ARRT and CT registry certifications. Additionally, the role requires Florida state licensure, current CPR certification, and at least two years of progressive experience in a hospital diagnostic imaging department.
Graduate of a two-year AMA-accredited radiologic technology program. Registered ARRT. CT registry required. Current CPR certification. Florida Licensure to practice as Radiologic Technologist by State of Florida. 2 years progressive responsibility in a hospital diagnostic imaging department.
