Job Description

Mammography Technologist Location: Manhattan & Brooklyn, NY Organization: New York Imaging (NYI) Hours: 4/10 hr shifts (7:30am - 5:30pm) Why Join Us? In This Role, You Will: Perform routine and diagnostic mammography procedures. Assist with stereotactic biopsies. Track inventory and manage supply orders. Provide courteous and professional explanations of procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation. Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce accurate, high-quality images. Process images and review them for proper identification and quality control. Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff. Orient and train new hires. Perform other related duties as necessary. We Require: A minimum of one year of continuous experience in Mammography. Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in computer applications. Availability to work daytime weekday hours. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
