The Gastroenterologist will diagnose and treat conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas, while performing endoscopic procedures and developing comprehensive care plans. They will also collaborate with other specialists and educate patients about digestive health.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, be board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology, and have completed a fellowship in the field. Proficiency in endoscopic procedures and strong diagnostic skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
