The anesthesiologist will administer anesthesia, monitor patients during surgical procedures, and collaborate with surgeons to develop effective anesthesia plans. They are also responsible for providing post-anesthesia care, educating patients on safety measures, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and possess board certification in Anesthesiology. Additionally, applicants are required to have mid-senior level experience and an active medical license in the state of Tennessee.

As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment, focusing on patient-centered care and effective pain management. This role not only supports our operational goals but also enhances the quality of care provided to our community.
Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures Assess patient medical histories and evaluate anesthesia risks Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to develop anesthesia plans Provide post-anesthesia care and assess patient recovery Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures and safety measures Ensure compliance with medical regulations and safety protocols Document anesthesia care and patient responses accurately Participate in continuous medical education and training programs
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Anesthesiology Mid-senior level experience in anesthesiology practice Strong clinical and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Knowledge of current anesthesia techniques and practices Active medical license in the state of Tennessee
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts
No call requirement
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: 15-25 blocks per day
Lumbar blocks, cervical blocks, radiofrequency ablations, sympathetic blocks, joint injections, spinal cord stimulator, transparametal, and other bread and butter cases
Must be board-certified
