The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for administering medication and providing direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. They must also document care accurately, follow established care plans, and report any unsafe conditions or abnormal findings.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. CPR certification is recommended, and the role is open to both experienced professionals and new graduates.
A Licensed Practical Nurse administers resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or a physician to maintain the highest level of resident care.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the State Board of Nursing. CPR certification recommended.
