Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services to patients Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret test results Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings Educate patients on gastrointestinal health and preventive care
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license in the state of practice Experience in gastroenterology, preferably as a locum tenens Strong diagnostic and procedural skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to patient-centered care Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
Duties: Clinic, elective cases, and emergency call coverage
Endoscopies, ERCP, biopsies, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, etc.
Support Staff: APP
EMR: Meditech
Dictation: DAX and Dragon
Must be board-certified
