As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images to assist in patient treatment plans. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and support the overall mission of providing high-quality healthcare services.
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards Provide patient education regarding imaging procedures Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a specialization in Radiology Valid medical license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania Experience in performing and interpreting a variety of imaging studies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Monday, 8a-5p
Weeknight call (5p-8a) and 24-hour weekend call (Friday 5p-Monday 8a)
75% IR, 25% DX
Some Light IR: CT biopsies, lumbar punctures, fluoros
Board certification required
