Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients Assess and manage patient conditions effectively Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Utilize advanced medical technology and equipment Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Stay current with best practices in critical care medicine Educate patients and their families about treatment plans

Requirements

MD degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of Arizona Experience in critical care medicine is preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Commitment to continuous professional development

Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts

Call: Occasional night call coverage

Multiple facility locations

Patient Census: Up to 30 per day

Procedures

Central lines, arterial lines, intubation, chest tubes, etc.

Support Staff: APPs, nurses, respiratory therapists, administrative staff, social workers

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
