The MRI Technologist is responsible for independently conducting MRI examinations and executing technical procedures under the guidance of medical leadership. This role requires the application of independent judgment and strict adherence to MRI safety protocols.
Candidates must have graduated from an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program and possess both ARRT and MRI registry certifications. Prior clinical hospital experience and current CPR certification are also required.
Under the guidance of the Director of Radiology and the Medical Director, the MRI Technologist is tasked with executing a range of technical procedures pertinent to Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
This role operates at an advanced technical level with minimal supervision, enabling the technologist to independently conduct MRI examinations. The execution of these procedures necessitates a high degree of independent judgment, initiative, and a thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols.
