The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, including physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment. They will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans and participate in community health initiatives.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and possess board certification in Pediatrics. A valid medical license to practice in the state of Washington is required, along with strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
As a Pediatrician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and preventive care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide education to families. This role is essential in fostering a supportive and healthy environment for our young patients.
Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients Diagnose and treat various medical conditions in infants, children, and adolescents Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide preventive care and health education to patients and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Stay current with developments in pediatric medicine Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Board certification in Pediatrics Valid medical license to practice in the state of Washington Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to continuous professional development and education Previous experience in a pediatric setting is preferred
Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts per week
Call Requirement: 1:4 rotation, covering 7-8 inpatient days per month
Shifts available at multiple outpatient clinics
Patient Volume: 15-20 per day, ~200 deliveries per year
Patient Population: Newborns through 18 years old
Must be available for the main hospital for emergencies and to attend some deliveries
Will attend scheduled births for high-risk pregnancies
EMR: AthenaHealth
Must be board-certified
