The Nurse Practitioner provides professional medical services in collaboration with a physician, including conducting physical exams, formulating diagnoses, and developing treatment plans. They are also responsible for prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and documenting all services within the electronic medical record system.
Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing and possess a current Michigan Registered Nurse license with board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience is required, along with strong interpersonal and decision-making skills.
The Nurse Practitioner is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: Provides professional services in collaboration with licensed physician within scope of practice/certification, including, but not limited to: completes comprehensive history and physical examination, formulates diagnosis, develops/implements treatment plan.; prescribes medications, orders and evaluates diagnostic tests; teaches and counsels individuals, families and groups. This position promotes recovery-based, person-centered, and culturally competent practices.
