The Clinical Social Worker will provide skilled assessment and intervention for children with chronic, complex, and/or life-threatening conditions and their families. They will work collaboratively with healthcare teams and participate in conflict management, bereavement care planning, and support.
A Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work is required, along with specific licensure and experience requirements based on state regulations. The candidate must have 3,000 hours of post-masters social work experience for Connecticut or 24 months of experience for Rhode Island.

Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work.
For Connecticut, consistent with LCSW licensure requirements, 3,000 hours of post-masters social work experience and 100 hours of post-masters clinical supervision. For Rhode Island, consistent with LICSW licensure requirements, 24 months of experience licensed as a licensed clinical social worker under appropriate supervision.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State of Connecticut, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) from the State of Rhode Island, or those holding licenses from other states, will need an 'endorsement' and meet the State of Connecticut or State of Rhode Island license requirements

LCSW required. 4 days, 6-hour shifts, or, 3 days, 8-hour shifts Experience working with children and families in a clinical capacity; especially working with life-threatening conditions, chronic disease, hospice and / or end-of-life care, and bereavement preferred Provide skilled assessment and intervention for children with chronic, complex and/or life-threatening conditions and their families. Participate in conflict management, bereavement care planning and support, and training and education.
