The Recovery Specialist provides a safe and structured residential living environment through direct client supervision and the facilitation of non-clinical groups. They collaborate with the clinical treatment team to ensure adherence to agency standards and licensing requirements.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and CPR certification, with at least one year of 12-Step fellowship or SUD/Behavioral Health experience. Prior experience as a CNA or Behavioral Health Technician is preferred.
1st, 2nd & 3rd shift available Salary $16.00 - $18.00 hour ($2.00 shift differential available for 3rd shift) Job Summary The Recovery Specialist is the first step to starting your career in Recovery. You will be responsible for providing a safe, structured and closely supervised residential living environment. You will maintain consistent adherence to established policies and procedures. Working in cooperation with the Clinical Treatment team and ensuring best clinical/treatment practices in the milieu according to agency standards and philosophy.
Direct client supervision Facilitating and co-facilitating client non-clinical groups Providing safe client transportation Maintaining appropriate documentation according to agency and licensing requirement Experience: 1+ year of 12-Step fellowship experience required A minimum of 2 years in treatment industry preferred CNA, Behavioral Health Tech, Mental Health Tech, Recovery Specialist, Residential Counselor experience preferred Required Qualifications/Licensure & Certifications: CPR Certification High School Diploma Physical Nature of the Job: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
