Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures with a specialization in Computed Tomography at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. Ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining accurate records within the PACS environment.
Requires a minimum of 1 year of current work experience in Computed Tomography and valid ARRT (R) and Advanced ARRT CT certifications. Must demonstrate proficiency in starting IVs and contrast injections, along with basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) specialized requirement in Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our dynamic team at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS). Work Hours: Monday – Sunday: Between the hours of Midnight – Midnight Including Holidays Lunch or dinner meal periods: employees that works an 8-hourshift shall be entitled to two (2) 15-minute breaks and one (1) 30-minute mealbreak. 40 hours per week.
Minimum 1 year of current work experience in Computed Tomography (CT). Hold a current valid ARRT (R) and Advanced ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification for CT modality. Must have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV) and contrast injections. IV certification is preferred but not required. Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience; however, AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required. Have basic computer skills. Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Software(e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
