The Medical Assistant will support both clinical and administrative functions, including recording vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures. They will also manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and medical record maintenance.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a Medical Assistant diploma, with at least 3 years of experience. Proficiency in clinical skills such as EKGs, venipuncture, and injections, along with CPR certification, is required.
