The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI procedures under the direction of a Radiologist while ensuring equipment functionality and patient safety. They are responsible for managing patient data, administering contrast media, and maintaining efficient patient flow within the imaging department.
Candidates must hold a degree from an Allied Health Technical Program and possess active licensure as a Radiographer, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or Radiation Therapy Technologist. A minimum of one year of MRI experience and current BLS certification are required.
Education Allied Heath Technical Program License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State General Radiographer Nuclear Medicine Technologist Radiation Therapy Technologist Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross And ARRT-Radiographer Or NMTCB- Nuclear Medicine Or ARDMS Registered Work Experience and
One (1) year of MRI experience.
