Perform clinical assessments and diagnostic vascular sonography exams while maintaining accurate documentation and preliminary reports. Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care and resolve any equipment or procedural issues.
Requires a graduate degree from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology program and a current Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT) certification. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience and proficiency with various vascular ultrasound equipment.
Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology program (CAAHEP preferred) Current Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT) certification (required) Proficiency with vascular ultrasound equipment (e.g., Mindray DC-8, GE E10, Parks Physiologic Machine) Strong competency in vascular studies, including: Arterial and venous duplex (upper and lower extremities) DVT and venous reflux studies Carotid, abdominal aorta, mesenteric, and renal artery duplex Hemodialysis access studies Physical demands: Moderate lifting: up to 50 lbs. maximum. Must be able to stand, stoop, lift and walk without restrictions.
