Administer and monitor psychiatric medications while evaluating effectiveness, side effects, compliance, and patient response
Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, wellness strategies, and behavioral health resources
Coordinate care and collaborate with physicians, medical providers, therapists, and external healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes
Conduct phone triage and assist patients with medication-related concerns, prescription assistance programs, and prior authorizations
Monitor patient health status including vital signs, weights, nutritional concerns, and laboratory results while reporting abnormal findings appropriately
Perform CLIA waived laboratory testing, maintain quality control documentation, and support phlebotomy needs as required
Support employee health initiatives including influenza vaccination clinics and staff TB testing
Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Medical Assistants in accordance with the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act and applicable regulations
Complete clinical documentation accurately and within organizational standards while maintaining patient confidentiality
Maintain compliance with mandatory trainings, ethical business practices, and organizational policies Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee required
CPR-BLS certification required
Minimum of six months to one year of psychiatric, behavioral health, or related mental health nursing experience preferred
Experience in outpatient nursing, medication management, patient triage, psychiatric care, behavioral health, or mental health services preferred Additional Qualifications:

Maintain the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, clinical staff, and multidisciplinary treatment teams

Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical healthcare practices at all times
Exhibit basic computer proficiency and electronic documentation skills
