The ECT Multi-Skilled Technician supports safe and efficient patient care throughout the ECT treatment process by assisting nursing and anesthesia staff. They are responsible for maintaining patient flow, treatment readiness, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection prevention protocols.
Candidates must hold a valid Florida license as a CNA, EMT, or Paramedic, or be an eligible nursing student. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
The Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) Multi-Skilled Technician (MST) supports safe, efficient, and patient-centered care throughout all phases of the ECT treatment process. This role assists nursing and anesthesia staff with patient preparation, procedural support, monitoring, and recovery while ensuring compliance with Sarasota Memorial Hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols. The ECT MST plays a critical role in maintaining patient flow, treatment readiness, and operational efficiency within the ECT department.
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
