The psychiatrist will conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, manage medication treatment plans, and monitor client progress. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold a board certification in psychiatry and an active Pennsylvania medical license. A minimum of two years of post-residency experience is preferred, along with familiarity with behavioral health regulatory standards.
As a Full-Time Psychiatrist, you will: Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management sessions. Monitor client progress, review laboratory results, and manage medication treatment plans. Prepare discharge orders and prescriptions in a timely and compliant manner. Collaborate closely with therapists, nursing staff, and other medical professionals to ensure continuity of care. Provide clinical consultation and support to the multidisciplinary treatment team. Participate in peer review, case consultation, and quality assurance initiatives. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Support the ongoing development and enhancement of psychiatric services across the program.
Board Certification in Psychiatry required. Active Pennsylvania medical license required. Minimum of two years of post-residency experience in psychiatric medicine preferred. Experience treating adolescents and adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders strongly preferred. Familiarity with CARF, DDAP, and Office of Mental Health standards. Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and ethical standards of care. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems. Excellent communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills. Technical Competencies Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality psychiatric care in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting. Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of evidence-based behavioral healthcare practices. Commitment to continuous quality improvement and outcome-driven patient care.
