Perform comprehensive psychiatric and mental health assessments and communicate concerns to the treatment team as appropriate
Administer and monitor medications while observing effectiveness, side effects, compliance, and patient response
Provide patient education regarding medications, behavioral health treatment plans, wellness strategies, and available resources
Conduct phone triage and assist patients with medication concerns, prescription assistance programs, and prior authorizations
Monitor patient health status including vital signs, nutritional status, weights, and disease-related concerns
Perform CLIA waived laboratory testing and maintain quality control documentation and laboratory standards
Support phlebotomy services and report abnormal laboratory values as required
Collaborate with physicians, Registered Nurses, Certified Medical Assistants, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Assist with employee health services including influenza vaccination clinics and TB skin testing
Complete clinical documentation accurately and within organizational standards while maintaining patient confidentiality
Maintain compliance with mandatory trainings, organizational policies, and ethical healthcare practices
Provide assigned residential nursing services as directed when applicable Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program required
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
Minimum of six months to one year of psychiatric, behavioral health, or related mental health nursing experience preferred
