The technologist performs clinical laboratory procedures, including specimen analysis and quality control, to support disease diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities also include maintaining laboratory equipment, handling infectious materials, and performing phlebotomy under aseptic conditions.
Candidates must hold either a baccalaureate degree in medical technology for the MT role or an associate degree for the MLT role. Certification from ASCP or AMT is required, or the candidate must be eligible to take the exam and obtain certification within one year of hire.

Scheurer Health, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a self-motivated and reliable MT, MLT, MLS or CLS to join our Laboratory team. This position provides information for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease by conducting medical laboratory tests, procedures, and analyses following established guidelines and quality control standards.
