The Surgical Technologist assists the surgical team by maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring equipment functionality. They support both invasive and non-invasive procedures to ensure patient safety under the supervision of a licensed professional.
Candidates must be a graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program or a military equivalent. A minimum of one year of working experience and CST certification from the NBSTSA are required.
The Surgical Technologist 1 is a vital part of the surgical team, assisting under the supervision of a licensed professional to ensure safe and effective procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment, ensuring equipment functionality, and supporting both invasive and non-invasive procedures to prioritize patient safety. Graduate of Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), Surgical Technology Program, OR Military Surgical Technology Program CST from National Board of Surgical Technology , or equivalent Military experience and a minimum of 1 year working experience.
