Responsibilities
Scrub and circulator duties for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in the cath lab
Perform left and right heart catheterization, PCI/PTCA, and assist with stent placement
Support device implant/closure procedures and IABP placement/removal; rotablator atherectomy as indicated
Maintain sterile field and assist with room setup, catheter manipulation, and fluoroscopic guidance
Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures; monitor hemodynamics and dysrhythmias as needed
Chart procedures accurately in the designated electronic health record; ensure complete documentation and communication with the care team
Requirements
NY license in hand to submit
Certification: ARRT (R) required due to on-call coverage; RCIS acceptable if ARRT not available (Only one RCIS allowed on call)
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of relevant cath lab experience
EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
Ability to work in a hospital cath lab setting and float to related units if needed
On-call responsibilities and the ability to respond promptly during assigned shifts
