Pediatric CVS Surgery Advanced Practice Provider

• Position Overview BayCare Medical Group’s Cardiac Center of Excellence, based out of St.
• Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a board-certified APRN/PA-C Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery APP.
• At least three years of post-training work experience with pediatric cardiac surgery patient care is required.
• RNFA certification is required.
• In this full-time role, you will be working alongside our Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgeons both in and out of the operating room.
• Experience in caring for pediatric cardiac patients in a variety of settings, including ICU, is required.
• You will also serve as a patient advocate, acting as liaison between patients and physicians.
• Schedule will include eight-hour shifts Monday thru Friday, with the option to transition to four ten-hour shifts once training is completed.
• Call responsibilities include approximately 15 days per month.

Qualifications

Position requires: Florida licensure and certification PA-C or APRN. Minimum of two-years of experience (within the last 12 months) in pediatric surgical subspecialty field, with first assist experience. APP must obtain and maintain Medical Staff privileges as required by the position.
