The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care across all age groups to improve physical health and functional abilities. They also perform operational duties for the Rehabilitation Department and provide therapy services at outreach sites.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and be eligible for licensure in South Dakota. A current BLS certificate and proficiency with computerized health information systems are required.
The Occupational Therapist will provide direct patient care and documentation for patients of all ages, birth through geriatric, to enhance physical health and functional abilities. The Occupational Therapist will also carry out other operational duties for the Rehabilitation Department as indicated and provide physical therapy to outreach sites as indicated.
Provide direct patient care as prescribed within standard practice guidelines and in full compliance with established Occupational Therapy protocols.
