The Wound Care Technician performs delegated patient care procedures, including removing wound dressings, taking vital signs, and assisting physicians and RNs. They also support the clinical team by preparing patient rooms, equipment, and whirlpool tanks for hydrotherapy.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience as a Patient Care Assistant. Preferred qualifications include 1 year of wound care experience and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
