Requirements summary
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and obtain RT (R) (CT) certification within one year. Proficiency in basic radiologic principles, anatomy, and computer systems like PACS is required.
Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00pm including evening differential. No holidays or Weekends. Willing to train new graduates of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Midwest Radiology is also offering a one-time bonus of $5,000 to be earned and paid upon successful completion of one year of employment.

SUMMARY

POSITION: Perform CT exams and procedures according to established protocols to provide quality images and patient care.
Essential
Functions:
Perform CT exams and assist physician in invasive procedures in a timely manner.
Demonstrate efficiency and effectiveness within the department time standards for routine exams.
Obtain patient history, answer questions, and provide the patient with information about the exam and/or procedure so they are comfortable and thoroughly understand it.
Work with the radiologists, referring clinics and/or patients to ensure the appropriate exams, films and medical records are correct and prepared for the exam.
Ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete for the radiologist, referring clinic and the patient’s medical records.
Incorporate company values into daily interactions with internal and external customers.
Other duties may include, but are not limited to, training new employees, stocking and/or ordering department supplies and assisting in other departments.

3-6 months general x-ray experience preferred.
6-12 months CT experience preferred.
IV and power contrast injector experience preferred.
CPR certification required.
