The phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining and processing laboratory specimens to support the hospital's diagnostic goals. They also perform LIS computer operations and clerical tasks to ensure efficient laboratory workflow.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with a phlebotomy certificate program graduation preferred. At least three months of active phlebotomy experience is preferred, though recent graduates may be considered.
