The Adoption Specialist guides children and families through the adoption process by conducting assessments, coordinating services, and developing individualized treatment plans. They also maintain accurate case records, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide ongoing support to foster and adoptive families.
Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree in a human services-related field and possess a minimum of two years of experience working with children with emotional or behavioral problems. A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and the ability to pass criminal background and drug screenings are also required.
Necco has an opportunity for a career as an Adoption Specialist. This role is responsible for guiding children, foster families, and adoptive families through the adoption and permanency process. The Adoption Specialist ensures safe, ethical, and timely placements by conducting assessments, coordinating services, and providing ongoing support from intake through post-adoption stabilization.
This role works directly with children and foster parents across home, school, office, and community settings to support permanency outcomes and overall well-being.
