Provides safe and effective PICC services to the hospital patients.
Assess and monitor vital signs of patients admitted in the outpatient infusion center.
Notify physicians regarding patient conditions and lab results prior/during infusion therapy Interprets lab values for critical levels.
Maintains ability to operate machines, instruments and supplies unique to this area.
Maintains sterile field and aseptic techniques for PICC areas.
Facilitates daily check of all emergency equipment.
Coordinates the orientation of new employees.
Audits equipment for the unit.
