Job description
We are currently looking for a dynamic Maternal Fetal Medicine/OBGYN Sonographer to join our outpatient clinic team! We offer a competitive salary, great benefits, and a flexible work schedule.
This job is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, flexible and independent, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Our technologists work within the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Weekends and holidays are a rotation to cover follicle scans for our fertility program only.
Experience: 2 years of OB/GYN or perinatology experience as a sonographer (Required)
Certification
Current RDMS - OB GYN certified
Work Location: Five office locations
Hours per week
(FTE 0.8 or 4days/week) 32-40hrs
Regular hours
Hours of work may change depending on patient /business needs, most days start at 0800 and end by 5PM.
Fertility hours
Early start would be at 6-7am as needed for fertility scans. Also includes a rotation of weekends and holidays to cover fertility follicle scans only.
Qualifications
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to manage interactions with all types of people and be able to follow directions
Current RDMS certificate, OB GYN certified
Experience 3D scanning a plus.
Basic knowledge of a computer, printer, copier, and ultrasound machine
Effective communication in English (listening, writing, reading)
Use of an Electronic Medical Record System, EPIC knowledge preferred
Physically-need the ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with occasional lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Presents images and measurements to the physician per the order for diagnosis and treatment

Proficiency in obtaining, assessing, and indications for Maternal Fetal Doppler studies
Performs 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB ultrasounds as well as maternal antenatal screenings
Performs transabdominal and vaginal scans. Scanning time per patient varies but must be able to scan up to 2 hours per scan
Complete yearly corporation compliance as designated by administration
Remain up to date with CPR
Help to keep policies and procedures up to date and reviewed
