The Surgical Tech will ensure a sterile and fully equipped operating room environment, meticulously preparing the field for surgery. Responsibilities include facilitating procedures by passing instruments, assisting with critical tasks like hemostasis, and managing all surgical instrument counts.
Minimum requirements include obtaining BLS Provider certification within one month of hire, and possessing either a High School diploma with 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience. Graduation from a surgical tech program is a preferred additional qualification.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Ensure a sterile and fully equipped operating room environment, meticulously preparing the field for a safe and successful surgical experience. Facilitate the surgical procedure by expertly anticipating and passing sterile instruments and supplies to the surgeon and actively assisting with critical tasks, including the provision of hemostasis. Manage all surgical instruments, meticulously tracking and accounting for counts throughout the procedure to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and compliance. Support optimal patient care by assisting the surgical team with safe patient transport, correct positioning, and sterile draping before the start of the procedure.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
