The Residential Counselor supports group home residents with daily living activities and helps them achieve personal goals outlined in their Individual Rehabilitation Plans. Responsibilities include educating consumers on medications, maintaining accurate documentation in electronic health records, and providing transportation as needed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Six months of direct care experience is preferred, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. This role requires driving as an essential function. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be subject to post-offer verification of driving eligibility consistent with company insurance requirements.
Use of Company Van as needed to transport consumers.
