Summary As a Sonographer, you are a vital member of the healthcare team, delivering precise diagnostic imaging that directly impacts patient care and clinical decision-making.

Your expertise in performing a broad spectrum of ultrasound procedures ensures accurate, timely, and high-quality imaging for a variety of medical conditions.

You will combine technical proficiency with empathy and professionalism to support patients through every step of their diagnostic journey.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, and strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Your work plays a key role in advancing diagnostic accuracy and improving health outcomes across the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties, including abdominal, obstetric (OB), vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, testicular, and small parts imaging Ensure all imaging studies are conducted with precision, efficiency, and clinical relevance to support accurate radiologist interpretation Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout every procedure Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment in compliance with departmental and manufacturer standards Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize diagnostic outcomes Uphold all applicable regulatory, infection control, and safety protocols in accordance with institutional and industry guidelines

Requirements

Current state license in good standing (if applicable) Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program ARRT or DMS certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
