About the role

The clinician will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide crisis support and facilitate community-based alternatives for youth. They will also collaborate with the psychiatry team to develop effective coping strategies and comprehensive after-care plans.

Join our compassionate team at the NFI Hospital Diversion Program in Southern Vermont as a Mental Health Clinician specializing in adolescent care. We're dedicated to providing a supportive environment for both our clients and staff, prioritizing therapeutic interventions and team camaraderie.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support youth in crisis
  • Facilitate a comfortable community alternative for inpatient youth
  • Collaborate with program psychiatry team to provide youth with effective coping strategies, better understanding of their struggles, and thoughtful after-care planning

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
  • VT Licensure Preferred (Licensed MSW, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Counselor, etc.)
