The pharmacist provides essential inpatient pharmacy services, including medication order verification, compounding, and dispensing to ensure safe medication use. They also support investigational drug studies and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain regulatory compliance.
Candidates must hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and be licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy. Depending on the level, 0 to 5+ years of experience and preceptor certification may be required.
De-Centralized Pharmacist - Full Time (10 hr shifts) Department: Pharmacy
Foundational knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations, medication preparation, and clinical practice principles. Ability to identify and resolve basic medication‑related issues. Understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards related to inpatient pharmacy services (USP, Joint Commission, state/federal requirements). Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently. Proficiency with pharmacy management systems, dispensing technologies, and electronic health records.
