Provide hands-on personal care and daily living support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home. Ensure resident health and safety through medication administration, monitoring, and fostering community participation.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Experience with developmental disabilities and certifications like CNA, HHA, or DSP are preferred.
High school diploma or GED required; relevant training or certification (e.g., CNA, HHA, DSP) preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially in a residential or group home setting, is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to transport residents. CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain). Work Environment: Group home setting with close interaction with residents and staff. This role requires physical activity including lifting, assisting with mobility, and responding to emergencies. Flexible scheduling is necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
