A high school diploma or GED is required, though DSP, CNA, or HHA experience is preferred, along with the ability to support male residents in a residential setting. Candidates must possess a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication skills.

Job Summary The Direct Care Worker (DCW) supports adult individuals with developmental disabilities in a licensed residential group home setting. This position provides hands-on personal care, behavioral support, and daily living assistance to residents in a male residential program. The DCW is responsible for maintaining a safe, structured, and respectful environment while supporting independence, skill development, and community participation in accordance with individualized support plans and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; DSP, CNA, HHA, or related experience preferred. Ability to work in a male residential living environment and provide personal care support to male residents. CPR/First Aid certification Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Three professional references required. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, standing, and responding to emergencies.
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral support needs preferred. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to transport residents. Article 9 Certification Prevention and Support Certification Work Environment Licensed residential group home serving adult male residents. The role requires active engagement, physical stamina, and flexibility. Shifts may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
