The Pathologist will conduct diagnostic examinations of tissues and fluids to diagnose diseases and inform patient treatment plans. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in tumor boards, and mentor medical staff.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, have completed a Pathology residency, and possess a valid Florida medical license. Board certification is required, and experience in clinical pathology is preferred.

As a Pathologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing diseases through the examination of tissues, cells, and bodily fluids. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate diagnoses that inform patient treatment plans. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care we provide.
Conduct diagnostic examinations of tissue and fluid samples Collaborate with physicians to discuss patient diagnoses and treatment plans Maintain accurate and thorough patient records Stay updated with advancements in pathology and medical practices Provide expert consultations to healthcare teams Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives Conduct research and contribute to publications in the field Educate and mentor medical staff and students
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of residency in Pathology State medical license to practice in Florida Strong analytical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Commitment to continuing education and professional development Experience in clinical pathology is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Call required
Contemporary hematopathology services that integrate morphological examination with Flow Cytometry, Cytogenetics, FISH, and molecular genetics
Adult post-mortem exams are rare, but possible
Tumor boards required
Team Structure: 14 total pathologists
Must be board-certified
