The pharmacist manages drug therapy protocols and evaluates medication orders to prevent drug-related problems within an interdisciplinary team. They provide essential drug information and education to medical staff, patients, and pharmacy students.
Applicants must hold a Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) and an active North Carolina pharmacy license. BLS certification is required within 30 days, with ACLS and PALS required within six months.

Our 24-hour pharmacy offers opportunities to perform clinical pharmacy services for patients in various departments of the hospital, including ICU, PCU/Cardiac, and the Emergency Department. How you’ll contribute
Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems.
Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, and pharmacy students.
Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry.
Checks for accuracy after filling by technicians.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should possess a Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD), along with a pharmacy license active in North Carolina. Additional requirements include:
· Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
· ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
· One year of experience preferred
· ASLS certification preferred
