Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat medical conditions while developing individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare providers to manage chronic conditions and provide patient education.
Requires a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies with national board certification. Minimum of one year of experience in Hematology/Oncology is required.
Willing to await licensure Board certification AHA BLS certification Minimum 1-year Hematology/Oncology experience or equivalent
Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics) Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program Licenses & Certifications: National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP]) National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Experience: While specific requirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty
Travel: If you reside greater than 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for travel benefits. You will have your travel and lodging arranged by our travel department and paid for in full. Please note that this position is offered as an independent contractor (1099) role and does not include the typical benefits associated with a W-2 employment, such as health insurance, retirement contributions, or paid time off.
