• What You’ll Do: Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and in accordance with current practice standards.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), meal services, and other care needs as required.
• Ensures restorative and rehabilitative care plans are performed and documented accurately.
• Performs IV therapy and assists with admissions and discharges.
• Assigns and directs nurse aides in providing resident care, maintaining a team-oriented approach.
• Documents information in nurses’ records, care plans, and flow sheets as per regulation.
• Ensures infection control practices and safety protocols are consistently followed.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in nursing procedures, including interpreting vital signs and administering medications.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, and visitors, maintaining positive interpersonal relationships.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and maintains current knowledge of regulatory standards.

Requirements

Qualifications You Bring: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program; current LPN license required. Knowledge of long-term care regulations and geriatric resident needs preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff. Ability to read, write, and document reports and procedures accurately. Team-oriented with flexibility and problem-solving skills. Must hold a current Class C Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
