The LPN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to children and young adults, including administering medications and implementing individualized care plans. They also supervise assistive personnel and coordinate with physicians to ensure continuity of care.
A valid LPN license to practice in Massachusetts is required. Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred for new graduates.
Deliver direct nursing care and administer medications/treatments safely Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly Support individualized care plans and nursing interventions Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs appropriately Complete accurate documentation, charting, and physician order transcription Participate in admissions, transfers, discharges, and care coordination Maintain medication inventory and narcotic documentation Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and care teams Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident concerns Participate in trainings, staff meetings, and quality improvement activities Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to meet physical demands of resident care in a pediatric setting
Qualifications: Active Massachusetts LPN license required Valid driver’s license (Class C or D) required
