Perform magnetic resonance imaging on patients using technical equipment and administer contrast materials as required. Responsibilities include preparing patients, screening for contraindications, and maintaining equipment and patient records.
Requires an Associate Degree in a healthcare-related field and ARRT MRI certification (or obtainment within two years). BLS certification is required, and two years of MRI experience is preferred.
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to; performing magnetic resonance imaging on patients utilizing highly technical equipment and administering contrast materials as required. Other functions that may be assigned.
Certifications and Licensures
ARRT MR - ARRT MRI Required Equivalent Experience - ARRT MRI - required within two years of hire or transfer date BLS - Basic Life Support Required Equivalent Experience - Within 1 month of hire or transfer
