The Physical Therapist will conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse orthopedic caseload. They are responsible for directing patient exercises, managing post-surgical protocols, and collaborating with physicians to optimize patient recovery.
Candidates must hold a BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited school and possess a current PT license and CPR certification. Orthopedic experience is preferred.
In an outpatient orthopedic setting the Physical Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment services to a variety of patients in accordance with the physician referral and Plan of Care. The Physical Therapist will direct patient participation in activities and exercise programs to restore, reinforce and enhance performance while performing exceptional patient care. The Physical Therapist will provide patient education and set expectations for progression of treatment. As part of a collaborative approach to patient care the Physical Therapist will work closely with physicians and other health care team members. What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient conditions and functional limitations Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans Communicate clearly with patients about goals, expectations, and progress Apply clinical knowledge and diagnostic findings to guide treatment Establish meaningful short‑ and long‑term goals Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress Teach proper therapeutic exercise techniques and ensure patient safety Guide patients through post‑surgical rehabilitation protocols Collaborate with PTAs and therapy technicians to coordinate care Manage scheduling to optimize productivity and patient access Maintain and update Plans of Care in alignment with medical directives Communicate effectively with physicians and administrative teams What You Bring: Strong communication and patient‑education skills Compassion, positivity, and a team‑first mindset Solid clinical judgment and adaptability Ability to stay calm and effective in fast‑paced situations Position Requirements BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited school Orthopedic experience preferred Current Physical Therapy license and CPR required PRM123 This organization participates in e-Verify.
