The Assessment Specialist RN supports the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence. The role involves conducting patient assessments and coordinating treatment planning within a behavioral health setting.
This position is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence. Reports to: Assessment Manager/Supervisor
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure is required.
Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.

Requires a graduate degree from an accredited professional nursing program and a current unencumbered state nursing license. Experience in psychiatric healthcare, chemical dependency, and dual diagnosis is strongly preferred.
