Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with various diagnoses to help them reach developmental goals and learn new skills. Collaborate with referring physicians and multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement individualized treatment programs.
Requires a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school and a current state license or eligibility for licensure. CPR certification is required, and one year of outpatient experience is preferred, though new graduates are welcome.
High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how PTs may practice and whom they may supervise. Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency, and duration of physical therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
