As a Per Diem Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced emergency veterinarians, specialists, and credentialed technicians providing advanced patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced hospital.
This is a casual, as-needed position designed for experienced veterinary professionals looking to pick up shifts based on hospital needs and their availability.

In your day-To-Day, you will
Triage incoming emergency patients and assist with client communication throughout their visit.
Partner with veterinarians during patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
Perform radiographic positioning and assist with advanced diagnostic imaging.
Administer, monitor, and recover patients undergoing sedation and anesthesia.
Assist with minor surgical procedures and patient preparation.
Monitor hospitalized patients and promptly communicate changes in patient condition.
Maintain accurate and thorough electronic medical records.
Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
What you bring
Minimum of one year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant in an animal hospital.
Recent graduates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency processing laboratory specimens and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
Working knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
